Residency is a full-time, year-long experience for those who are seeking to discern or strengthen their ministry calling. While growing in practical skills, you receive mentoring, are part of a ministry team, and have opportunities to carry real weight and responsibility.

Being a part of the residency gave me a great opportunity to receive hands-on ministry training while being developed by leaders who genuinely cared about me and my future. What I learned through the residency ultimately helped set me up for my current role as the Youth Director at our Argyle Campus, where I now have the opportunity to lead students, develop volunteers, and invest in the next generation.
The residency taught me what it looks like to live a surrendered life. It was the first place I had ever experienced people wanting more for me than they wanted from me. I’ve experienced what it looks like for someone to believe in me, invest in me, and call me higher—and now I get to do that for other people, not because I work for a church but because that's who Jesus called us to be!
My time as an Intern has been such a valuable experience. I’ve grown in leadership and communication, and learned how to build teams. It has taken me to places I never could have gone on my own. More than anything, the internship has given me practical ministry experience, incredible relationships, and a deeper understanding of what it looks like to serve people well and lead with purpose. I’m grateful for the opportunity and for everything I’ve learned so far!
